The kitchen in this 1926 Colonial home had not been updated in 30+ years. We gutted it down to the studs in order to transform it into a modern space that complements its original architecture. Previously, there was a lot of wasted space because of the location of the stairs and the cooktop. The project goal was to take advantage of that wasted space, keep a sitting area, and update the gas cooktop to induction.
